Death Is A Gentleman Poem by Subarna Chakraborty

Death Is A Gentleman

Rating: 5.0

Just hold your breath, Princess.
He is your ultimate lover.
He will open his arms like a horizon waiting,
And when you are tired, he will gather you into forever.
A hero woven from endless longing,
A story with no final page.
He will be your nepenthe, dissolving sorrow,
Pouring an everlasting sun into your days.
Your holy dreams break at morning — I can feel it.
He will guard them behind your dreaming eyes.
He will forgive every fracture, every shadowed sin,
And carry your soul toward an endless Paradise.
I know you walk alone through your troubles,
I know the road will harden beneath your drive.
But one day you will rest in gentle hands,
For Death is a gentleman who never leaves you alone to survive.

Funny, but that is just the reality! Nice work here!
