Death Lingers Between Two Breaths Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Death Lingers Between Two Breaths

Between two breaths lies lingering faith,
Each one an escape door
To here to farther fore,
Survived if, life takes an anxious breath,
Succumbed if, new dawn dawns after death.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
If breath is life, life force, the void between two breaths is death. It is faith that life is sustained.
