Death Of Love Poem by Linda Moore

Death Of Love

Men, Women shouting accusing
Men, Women fighting abusing
One or the other unhappy with life
Divorced no longer Man and Wife

Destroying each other kick and scream
Doing all things hateful and mean
Turmoil, emotion upside down
One still Loves, feels bound

Breached, broken, gone trust
the Deadly Sin, Lust
Years of devotion mean not a thing
But, one still clings

Thrown away in a throw away World
Life trashed, in a heap hurled
Where Vows taken seem to vanish
and Loves fire extinguished, does parish
