*interlude's Poem by Linda Moore

*interlude's

Rating: 2.7

Intervening periods of time, an interlude, living all inclusive
No part do you elude, not one of us exclusive
It brings benediction and blessing
Sends sorrow, worry, distressing

Happiness only seems elusive
As pain is rude and intrusive

Thought provoking. It depends on how you look at it. I think life is a rose, its thorn prics are the interlude to make it appear more beautiful. Thomas Hardy thinks happiness as an occasional interlude in the general drama of pain. Anyway, an admirable attempt. CP
