Death Shadow Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Death Shadow

Rating: 4.5

When I'm gone beyond this mortal world, what type
of shadow will I leave behind?
Will it be agile and funny with a sense of humor?
Or will it be dark and serious like death itself?
Maybe it will be clearly defined, not stringent or declining.
What type of shadow will I leave imprinted in minds of
those I leave behind?
Hopefully it will bring a smile to other's lips when they
think of me on quiet reminiscent evenings.

Verily, an introspective interpretation that motivates to see into the past, present and future

Very nicely written about the confusing state of mind as how you'll be remembered by people after leaving this earth. The wish also was expressed eloquently as Hopefully it will bring a smile to other's lips when they think of me vary nice

'What type of shadow will I leave imprinted in minds of those I leave behind? Hopefully it will bring a smile to other's lips when they think of me on quiet reminiscent evenings.' Definitely you will be remembered with love and fondness. Your free flow of poems will be missed very much by your readers. Of late, such thoughts have been haunting me too. If you have time, you may like to read my poem 'Dear Poets' and say a few words please.
