Death With Delight - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

It is not difficult to write on page
With changing phase
Transformation from youth
To nearly skipping toward death

It is like autumn and spring
That brings
No joy to sing
That makes you to feel poor and not the king

Spring had given you all greenery
With blessings from an almighty
You enjoyed it throughout
Never looked back and talked about

Yes, so long so good
The meaning was understood
The autumn changed whole scene
The helplessness was now clearly seen

Youth had disappeared
Now life itself was feared
Yet spirit within was very high
To see the end with delight
