O, Son of the motherland
take us to the logical end
with nation's flying colors
with respect and honor
today the country is fully united
as you have ignited
the passion and love for mother India
with a simple approach and plea
The country may remember
your contribution forever
as it was not done this before
but you have added national flavor
long live and render
the service for poor
millions watch you here and all over
it is great moment for all us here
the country is proud to have such a great soul
who has seized the holy call
to take us along destined path
regardless of worry for the death
