Deep Green Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Deep Green

Rating: 5.0

in the coolness of shadows
in the misty fountain spray
thrilling to summer's last steps
in midst of birdsong

in a park of pleasantness
so peaceful near the flowers
radiance rules the daytime
echoing through night

green is the color of life
and August is so alive
butterflies brighten the shade
this peaceful Sunday

A most beautiful sweet and lovely poem with marvelous images translating Nature and Beauty into words. Giving the reader a delightful escape and rest from these very sad times. How grateful one should be for this beneficial power that some poets do posses. So thank you and be blessed.
