Deep Sea Of Misunderstanding Poem by Dorsey Baker

Deep Sea Of Misunderstanding

that face in the mirror
someone is coming
down the stairs
I hear the footsteps
a shadow is cast upon your window
the street lamp is blinking
trying hard to blink out
two cats engaged in a fight
screaming in the back alley
the front door
blew open
the wind comes howling
its got a big mouth
rain is sweeping the street
the people next door
forgot to turn of the hose
its flooding the garden
full of red roses
