a lover's moon
can be caught
in deep wells
of true hearts

What a beautiful and inspirational poem depicting the power of love. Yes, there is no impossible love in genuine hearts. A brilliant thought from my little poem.
p1I am going to clarify why I liked the poem 'Unobtainable-Haiku', by the poet Rose Marie Juan-Austin so much, which explains why I felt a need in appreciation to write a poem around that theme, with a differing focus.

Thank you for your wonderful thoughts. You put my poem on the positive and brighter side. Even more beautiful than Unobtainable! Top Marks and to my favorites.
p3The desire for the beloved is like the longing desire for the moon, to touch the moon; here symbolically 'Unobtainable', inverted in sunken well depths instead of a lover's moon shining in the sky.
p2The incredible alluring power of the poem 'Unobtainable-Haiku', is the beautiful romantic imagery of 'the moon in the bottom of the well', so beautiful desirable, in the first two lines. This desire is shattered with the impact of the single disturbing word of the last line 'Unobtainable'.
I have never had a desire to write poems more or less beautiful than the poems which inspired them. I loved the poem 'Unobtainable'. It also remind me of memories decades old in Istanbul, looking into ancient wells imagining their community life past.
