Defining Love Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Defining Love

Rating: 5.0

The nature of love is elusive
Yet it is the only thing that is adhesive
Can you hold it in your hand?
If you let it go it will expand…

Love comes in a variety of shapes
That wrap around like a drape
Surrounding warmth guides the soul
If it disappears, it leaves you half-whole

Love comforts; it is the essence of being
Love gives substance to a life that is fleeing
Problems developed while the earth is revolving
Only love can heal the ache that needs solving
