We can always look forward to seasons
As they change throughout the year
Starting with spring and its freshness
So sweet it brings me a tear
For that’s when leaves began to bud
And flowers too poke out their heads
They’re a little cautious, if you notice
For the weather is something to dread
Summer is so warm and so sweet
Flowers then are at their peak
Fragrant and delicious too
Bouquets are something we seek
Autumn is so wondrous too I think
For colors are abundant and bright
The smell is so earthy then
A season that makes everything right
Then old man winter appears
We never know what he will bring
But once he’s finished with us
We will definitely be ready for spring!

I'm certainly ready for spring already Marilyn, Winter seems to go on for so long. Although it is still January the spring buds are opening early. All our seasons seem to be getting mixed up these days. I love poem on nature and the seasons. A pleasure to read. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
