There’s a beautiful old homestead
Where I always love to visit
Puts you way back long ago
The furnishings are truly exquisite

A lovely sculptured staircase
Family pictures along the walls
A lady standing near the bed
So beautiful, elegant and tall

There’s an old-fashioned kitchen
Why, it makes you feel at home
And be sure to take some time to
Walk around the grounds and roam

I have seen many homes from the past
As I’ve traveled across this land
And taken photographs as well
Where life was rich and grand

I hope some day you can visit as well
An old home with style and charm
You will always be glad you saw
A delightful old-style farm!
