Deny Poem by Marilyn Jean

Deny

You trying to kiss me
When
I turn my head
Then
You asking if I come to bed
silence
Eventually yes, my answer
But
Me letting you fall asleep
Worst
You refusing to believe
Still
What I told you
Sigh
About what I feel
Despair
9 months of this
Then
Do the same
Or
Ignore

Deny
A mask worn on your face
Please
Ask me, ask me,
Why?
I will tell you why this
But
You won't ask
This is your last control
You won't even give me this
I talk you don't hear
Total denial
Even truth cannot break this
So
Deny for now
The choice is yours
