Departing Not Sweet Sorrow A Bitter Curd Poem by Terence George Craddock

Departing Not Sweet Sorrow A Bitter Curd

Rating: 5.0

goodbyes brief partings or partings forever goodbyes
long term awkward goodbyes final fatal moment comes
when everything is said nothing more to say time lapsed...

slipped away time tearing tearful ripped
away moment of doom desolate departure
farewells have been said are emotive said...

tears formed or forming faced with moment
of leaving lump in throat can't choked speak
an enormous lump in throat can't say the words...

the few words or many words wanting needing
to say tearful words washed flood waters away
women may embrace privately publicly their tears

flowing men a handshake a quick hug or step back
choked with emotion show no emotion a tear the odd
tears to remove or leave if there or embracing an older

man dying tears openly flowing manly men do not
embrace indulge lightly in public vulnerable shows
of manhood pain racked emotion openly expressed...
