Depressing Stress Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Depressing Stress

Don't allow to permit stress,
The only thing on your mind.
To depress it.
No.
Let it go.
However...
If you want to be upset with regret,
For not being more aware...
Of what has been staring you in the face.
And you made a decision to ignore it.
Without asking why,
It picked you to agitate.
Perhaps it came to make you notice,
What today your stress is focused on.
But you like so many others,
Chose to believe...
If there was a problem,
You were not the reason and cause...
To be involved.
Guess what?
I bet these days your mind has changed.
A lot!

So...
As a suggestion.
Don't allow to permit just stress,
The only thing on your mind to depress it.
No!
Let that go.
Choose something else,
That more reflects...
An awakening of your once to have,
Self centered 'It's All About Me' attitude.
To know there are too many,
Needing to know it is all about 'Them'!
This to do should relieve you from stress,
In seconds.
