Descending Into A City Poem by james watkin

Descending Into A City

Long and lit thoroughfares
Sheeny stepped wet in.
Throw back your perspective to
A bird's, incoming.
Draw deep breaths; to be sunk
In rivers of gold!
As through un-plumbed wonderment.
Ever warm; not cold.
