Desertion In Love Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Desertion In Love

Since days

"If you were to leave for sure"
You could have not assured
For lovely life and dreams
You were beating love drum at that time

You folded open
One by one
With lust as prime object
And only act

You showed how cruel you were
You were always there
To spoil my carrier
And desert later

I could not ascertain
And maintained
Close contact
An allowed act

You showed your color
And allied with other
To ditch me and leave high and dry
I asked self, why?

I had never offended
Or decided
To leave at any stage
He was preparing since days
