Designed For Effect Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Designed For Effect

Even the unexpected.
Designed for effect.
To produce the best,
Upheaval to cause...
Chaos and unrest.
No one...
Who designs,
A plan that undermines...
What it is that God creates.
Done to leave and will stun,
Anyone limited...
In mind to find,
That God...
Is not a myth to dismiss.
To eventually awaken.
With a clear consciousness.
To realize,
The patience God...
Has also its limits to reach.
That warm bright glowing light.
Can sting!

Those with beliefs,
Kept distorted to keep.
Can not design,
Any plan that deceives...
What God creates to intend,
To be left alone.
Not plead.
Warn to beg.
Or make promises,
Of wrist slapping punishment.
These consequences to pay,
Will be felt to know them.
And made publicly shown.

Those who mess with God.
And what it is God intends.
May be forgiven.
But their evil wicked misdeeds?
Never left to leave forgotten.
This price to pay,
Has its own mysterious way...
To ensure it gets paid.
Having no one left to mistake,
What it is they witness to see...
Is neither a movie.
Nor a well scripted TV series!

This...
Design for effect.
Can only be believed,
Is a creation of God.
The One Almighty!
And...the special effects?
Expect them to be...
Both jaw dropping,
And breathtaking.
As if done purposely,
To leave those comatosed.
