Desire Poem by Tashi Dhendup

Desire

The insatiable longing in us
Swells more than being satisfied
What shall keep us away?
From being so much covetous

We are born to be sanity
But still we remain discontented
Coz we miss some possibilities in life
What if you are disabled?

Prior to you criticizing about your life
Consider of someone who left the soil soon
Put a grin on your face
Thank god for you still exist

There can be things in life
Than just to breathe
Life is an endowment
Enjoy it and celebrate it

A wise poem, Tashi. Whenever I feel depressed, I consider the millions with worse problems and pray for them. Thanks for sharing Peace
