Desk Drawers Poem by Dr Anita Kapoor

Desk Drawers

Rating: 5.0

Years ago
as some of the dreams
wrapped in the scent of life
were left to be, for reality;
I locked them
in the drawer of uncertainty
lying in a corner of a dark room.
Today, as I reopen it
dreams and moments
are stuck together.
The year and the moment lives
as my fingers console
in the pitchdark
a booming glowworm.

We are Silent

We are silent
Just remember
Only two palms
One palm mine
One is yours
But......
We are silent
The moon is melting my way
Such as sleep walking again
My dreams in my open eyes
Your love is in your open eyes
But we are still silent

Lovely romantic train of thought, well articulated and elegantly penned in poetic diction from the heart with conviction. A beautiful depiction of voyage of bliss that is love, written with insight. Thanks for sharing Anita. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
