Destination…illumination Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Destination…illumination

Rating: 5.0

Step into the world of the sightless unknown
Feel the tender blades of grass beneath your feet
Absorb the warmth of the surrounding glow
Breathe in the awesome spirit that greets

A blue cloudless sky bends low and kisses your cheek
A gentle wind tickles your softly churned curls
Gardens filled with radiant daffodils sing with delight
A calm stream flows… steadily increasing into swirls

The world of wonderment amazes and carries dreams
A dazzling orb of discovery surrounds and enlightens
With eyes shut tight you can sense a magnetic pull
Being lifted above a gravity of thorns that frightens

You have acquired the wings of an unrestrained butterfly
Thoughts grow into a delicate flower with unfolding petals
Soon to enthrall all who witness with a beautiful fragrance
Returning…and joining the ultimate of festivals
