Destinations' Destiny Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Destinations' Destiny

I stood still,
In the pouring rain,
Then jumped on
The side step of a train.

On a sunny day,
I stood,
Waiting for a bus,
I took.

One windy day,
On the sidewalk,
I decided to
Take a tranquil walk.

In either one of those cases,
It occurred to me,
That those small destinations,
Led to my destiny.
