Destiny Poem by Rhonda Baker

Destiny

I sit in the studio on a hot afternoon
Staring out at Putnam, to the sound of the exhaust fan's tune
Three piece's in the annealer, it has been a good day
I'm on my life's path, I can clearly see the way
Mesmerized by fire and feeling the heat.
A drive to create, and simply repeat
To use every color, in every way I've ever known
To shape it in every way...me alone
To some it may be more then the mind can comprehend
But to me it's inevitable, a task I will see to the end
