Detrimental State
detrimental state of soul,
content to forfeit mastery of mind,
relinquishes control
of thought and feelings. lacking will to find
the courage once that was;
-now vanquished by the constant alibis-
and worse this seems because
'tis thus the spirit languishes and dies.
oh be thou captain still
of vessel of thy self - and sail the sea!

is gumption to exhibit mastery.
