when the light fades when soulless shade grey stays
when the sun lacks lamp shiny bright vigorous life heat
when the body is cast down in black gloom defeat beat
when the soul screaming cries as the heart bleeding dies
when the air has a void dead no circulation sterile dust taste
when the mind is running blind trapped in a lost blank bind
when skin is immune to feeling refreshing joyful wind breeze
when eyes of soul are down for the count on their dying knees
when depression heartache strips colour leaves grey freeze
the sorrow and pain of a break up
especially a break up that originated
in a deep pure soul consuming love
is a pain I would not wish on anyone
sorrow pain are soul destroyers
sorrow pain eat precious self esteem
sorrow pain eat self worth self belief
without self respect self confidence
how can a person develop inherent value
attain confidence healthy feel good happiness?
the sorrow and pain of a bad break up
can create pressures personal social anxiety
spectral fear less energy less motivation
perceptions of being worthless less attractive
an inability to cope increases negative thoughts
bad health difficulty getting out of bed to work
self confidence people do what they believe is right
can go the extra mile despite being mocked criticized
ridiculed for it; avoid bogged down perception details
the road to recover from sorrow pain a devastating break up
is by setting small easily attained small goal tasks
achieving them piling up success success successes
living in happy music happy songs happy memories
a few sad songs are ok in private if it releases feelings
allows a few private healthy tears to restoration healing flow
find a few new friends new interests see family old friends
a steep mountain is climbed with small steps required rest stops
now is the time to throw away a lifetime of ugly comments
those destructive seeds we shall discount discard throw together
attacks criticisms hurtful words resulting in negative thoughts
like I'm boring I'm stupid I'm ugly I'm worthless
I'm not good enough I'm undeserving I'm unlovable
I'm a bad person I'm abnormal we shall turn on head
into I'm interesting I'm exciting I'm smart I'm attractive
I'm pretty/handsome I'm worthwhile I'm good enough
I'm deserving I'm loveable I'm a good person I'm normal
I'm a unique wonderful person I will constantly repeat
my positives delete forever all negative fear scared thoughts
all people have some interests some skills they are good at
find these good vibes do these your best is good enough
remember setting small attained small goal tasks
achieving them piling up success success successes
living in happy music happy songs happy memories
remember your new world view life view personal view
repeat I'm interesting I'm exciting I'm smart I'm attractive
I'm pretty/handsome I'm worthwhile I'm good enough
I'm deserving I'm loveable I'm a good person I'm normal
negative thoughts are a drain on self confidence so are
negative people false friends avoid negative influences
walk away out of the dark rooms dark closet into the light
a failure attitude! I can't do anything right! replace it!
with tender healing kind forgiving beautiful phrases,
realize everyone makes mistakes, sometimes get excited!
replace fear failure with I bet I can do better next time!
choose realistic grounded goals take problems off at night!
always take problems worry off at night leave problems in the corner
if you must pick a few problems up the next day to carry in the day
remember take problems worry anxiety off at night leave it in a corner

sometimes people must go
because like a precious flower
they are dying withering inside
with the sorrow of no light no sunshine
the pain of no water drying up from within
a suffocating death no light no sunshine
flowers are not meant to wither die in darkness
people often leave
not because they want to go
but because they cannot stay
Painful topics are often socially avoided, break up is a part of reality, but the short and long term effect, depends upon the intensity of emotion, and techniques which address and resolve pain, thus the repetition of healing mantras. Love heals, confidence heals, pain anxiety trauma left ignored, do not, the poem is written for a specific audience.
I wrote the poem 'Speak Healing Words Wisely Softly With Wisdom', inspired by a comment I made on my poem 'Devastating Break Up Heartbreak Blues', by the poet Terence George Craddock. Dedicated with love to all in need, be kind to yourself, take time to heal.
People Who Happily Tread On Taboo Social Toes people who happily tread on taboo social toes people who happily walk into social minefields people who are indifferent blunt insensitive cruel people best avoided side stepped or sensitivity guided Inspired by a comment I made on my poem 'Devastating Break Up Heartbreak Blues', by the poet Terence George Craddock. Dedicated to the beautiful people, the healers, who are kind compassionate and heal the lost and the broken hearted.
Find positive vibes! Thank you Terence. Your poem, even though longer than most poems I read, has some very important message in it. I have experienced personally some of these things and I have also used many of the remedies said above. You are very wise! Thank you for writing this!

I would like to translate this poem
The poem is written to address a healing need. It is deliberately long, because the topic is huge, and can be devastatingly painful, with wide reaching interconnected influences.
