It's crystal pure love I always found in her,
As pure as morning dew on a fresh leaf;
She's devotion itself in its selfless flair,
Sacrifice of Self in its divine subtle shape;
She had all of world in the material halo
Like inexhaustible water of a depthless well,
But she threw it all like inconsequential odds
And pursued her course on devotion's path
That promised her nothing but nought, but for
Ceaseless humps and falls along her road;
She cared it not a bit and walked straight along
Towards no end, but for her devotion's sake
With shine in her eyes that shone her course,
That never to her life fetches material fruit.
Not for months, but for decades that never end,
She cours'd her long path, never flinching a bit;
Course was coarse with wild thorns on the road,
But nothing held her back from her devotion;
Turns showed up of firm comforts to her along,
In contempt she ignored those unwanted diversions
Like does a hungry lion for the hoards of mice;
Thirsty was she, hunger burrowed her resolve,
Dirty filth from earth dusked her lovely shape,
But she rose above those odd calls from around
That touch'd her not, not her devotional sojourn
To an unknown world beyond horizons around
Of devotion and love beyond her Self's grid,
What offers no fruit, where reward is unknown.
Devotion is her temple; love, sanctum sanctorum,
Where lights her soul with all the brilliance;
Where no more she is she, but pure love's medium,
In love and devotion, she finds her existence.
