Diamond Desert Poem by Sven Rhoads

Diamond Desert

As the sparkle comes into your eyes
With the winds so cadaver cold
See the beauty in the hideous
Where my paradise will unfold
Spread your wings, become the storm
In the land of the midnight sun
This is the jewel of the north
For I will keep you warm

Dont believe the tales
That spin such lies
Let the diamond desert
Be right here before your eyes

Where the seas have turned to glass
With the neon across the sky
Dont be afraid of the darkness
Just let your heart sing at last
In the wild and untamed
There's a beauty left unseen
Where the moon ignites the earth
And the north calls out your name

Just let yourself go
In the diamonds glow
This paradise
I will give to you

Under the midnight sun I'll keep you warm
Just open your arms to the jewel of the north
