Diamonds & Stones Poem by Jean Dament

Diamonds & Stones

Rating: 5.0

'Some days are diamonds & some days are stone, '
There are wonderful days of ease with everything going right;
Where you percieve to shine & sparkle brightly as diamonds do,
But then there are those awful days, when your problems are many dragging you down,
Left exhausted & feeling oh! so heavy like stone;
Where you feel quite numb & searching for the very rhythm of your soul,
But with God's help we can rise up to radiate brilliantly with a diamond's hue,
Leaving behind those burdens that made us seem like statues of stone;
And so goes our life just as the song goes - 'Some days are diamonds, some days are stone.'
