Did I Do It Again Poem by Nancy Hamann

Here I am screwed up in the head; thinking that I did it again.
I had a perfect man right in front of me when I let those insecurities lead me into obscurity.
I questioned his motives instead of letting go of my emotions.
I can only hope that he is the man that can see me for who I really am.
Instead of the screwed up things I have said.
Perhaps he will give me another chance to show what I now know.
That every once in a while it is okay to let go and see how things grow.
Not let the past direct the path.
I can only hope and pray that I didn’t do it again.
