A spider in its woven trap, eyes alert its prey to map, does not see
The heron's foot that soon will crush, its body in the rush to catch a fish before it does flee
The heron approaching near, does not see or hear the stealthy stalking jungle cat
The feline unaware, being in the upwind air, of the hunter's gun raised to where he's at
Hunter fixed upon his sight soon will feel the bite, from behind by a hunting crocodile
A vulture circling round, high above the death strewn ground, can only muse and smile
