Difficult to smash

Humanity is left high and dry?
no one goes deep into it and asks, why?
why have we failed in our obligation?
we have no ready answers to the questions

an ocean has turned sour
even with the river's water
it is not turning into a sweet test
rather making sourer the rest

we are not lagging behind
even we have forgotten to remain kind
towards all those who need us
and provide them trust and confidence

we are knee-deep in the race
and eventually, face
the stiff competition
to show that we are humans

We have not changed at all
but erected the hatred wall
that is very difficult to smash or break
and compels us to speak against
