Digitized God Poem by Joshua Amaefule

Digitized God

Many seek me for attention
For likes and followership intentions
They stripped naked and bow for a selfie
In quest for what to please me

Hoping to be rewarded and blessed
Not without sacrifice ot less
I am opium to the most addicted
On my altar, they kneel to be rated

I am your all seeing and Oracle
Recieving your prayers, comments and articles
A place to showcase one integrity
And a platform with room for atrocity

I am the world and the cities
I am flexible with abilities
I am social, a screen and a book
I am multilingual, a media and a crook

I am the first to get posted
Of events to be shared and hosted
The space where unreasonable couples fight
Washing their dirty linen for all in sight

I am a plague in your blood
A streaming that becomes a flood
A place where my worshippers abode
An upgrading and digitized god
