Dimensionless Poem by Barbara Haskell

Dimensionless

Outside,
amongst the freshly mowed grass
and hot sunshine,
curtains sway on the clothesline.
Later,
I will immerse my nose in their clean scent.
Whilst I hear the children laugh and play,
I run my fingers through my love's hair.
Within,
desire, dimensionless.
