Of my paternal grandfather...I'm thinking
Sitting here pondering his portrait I saw
Same as mine the complexion
.....Critical significance...."this" flaw

A Negro....born into Slavery
.....Trump followers not the least bit contrite
Gramps morphing from a Black man
...Magically re-emerging.....half-White

Dimwits and hypocrites
And biblical malfeasance
And bigotry and hatred
None other rational reason

The "browning" of this nation
....As time...would later construe
Founding Fathers'...sexual behavior
....As per America's historical review

To wit:

Promiscuous...raping of the Indian
...Slave maidens they licentiously screwed
Thus the browning of America
...Quite frankly....ain't a damn thing new

Why introduce...social mongering
Desperation's contingent of fear
....Fact is...we're genetically bound
Blood fucking relatives it's clear

...Hating....one's own kinfolks
Trump's got 'em falsely thinking
.....That the "browning" of America
'Tis...of Brown folks...own making

...Simply...it's hatred and bigotry
None other rationale nor reasoning
