Diplomat Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Diplomat

Rating: 5.0

Diplomat

He, like me
Is old and crazy.

He called me many times
Ex-colleague is friend of old days.

And he talked and he talked
And he talked and he talked
I learned and gathered thoughts:
"My copy, other side of wind, gust."

Of no use both of us
Narcissist and selfish, both of us:
We both say: "I am old so know well."
Simply we are shit! ! !

Difference?
He has learned to lie, hide
He is a diplomat and loves life
Life to him means live long
"Why the hell and what for? "
I question.

"Weigh your words, be cautious, " his advice.
"Be open, " and I am bitterly straight and out-loud.
"And don't eat potato's sprout, it can be poisonous."
"Let me eat and die soon; earlier the better."

Were we same?
Yes in work but not heart.
No, never.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Through this poem the poet has tried to analyse the psychology of human behaviour and attitudinal differences in people from the same background. Narcissist and selfish, both of us: Weigh your words, be cautious, his advice. Be open, and I am bitterly straight and out-loud.
