Dirtliness

cleanliness comes after dirtiness
but dirty hands get the work done
sometimes difficult, sometimes fun
godliness sound a bit too holy
and cleanliness just too - cleanly
i think i'll be down to earth - imperfect, dirtly

Hi, Harlan...Thanks for your comment on my 'verbal algebra'. Most of the words and ideas I used in this poem came from Poetry.com's...daily Poetry-in-motion contest. I expanded it due to another poemhunter's comments. This poem of yours...Dirtliness...is VERY GOOD! ! So simple in words but nice and deep with thought. Thanks again for your comments.
