Disasters Is All I See. Poem by Stephanie Nicole McKean

Disasters Is All I See.

Rating: 5.0

The mirror is what I aviod.
Disasters is all I see.
Although the past is now in the past.
Somethings you cant erase,
Even though you try and try.
It's there to haunt you for forever.
Nothing you can say or do.
People never change.
Dreams only crash and burn
The truth is never the truth anymore.
You'll never be the same.
So disasters must be your new name.

dear stephany, you are going through a phase where most teenagers feel underestimated and think they are useless, a disaster which is fortunately not true coz no one can ever be a disaster. we are all unique and varied people in terms of thinking, personality and nature which only makes each one of us a different individual from the other. people who have commented below and i have been there and we've made through it, so will you in due couse of time. i don't mean to preach but trust me girl LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. NO ONE is a disaster.

What you said sadly it's the truth. Now it's time to hold yourself and be strong. Yes, nothing is really great, the world is not so smooth. But, your job to make right from wrong, live your life like a song.

Steph, We see what we want to see, and right now you're seeing the entire forest, scary isnt it? Take a step back and see the forest for what it truly is, a group of individual trees. It isnt as intimidating when you know that the this one formidable entity is just one tree/problem/disaster that you can deal with. You just chop that one tree down and mover forward because that is all that we can do sometimes, keep moving forward.....

Feelings of pain! You are not alone Stephanie, my love, if I can call you so, you will survive like I did and soon enough, one day you will wake up early in the morning and look yourself in that same mirror and realize that you no longer see in front of you a distorted image and you will say to yourself 'Thank God', 'now I can see a new me, a new day'! (please, if you have time, read my poem titled 'IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS', and you will see that you are not alone! 10+++Keep it up! It is just the beginning!
