Why
out of desuetude
did I pluck 'destrier'
(out of disuse, 'warhorse') ?

You're raptured by words.

And why the almond biscuit, the ratafia?

To discover mandorla...
Rapture too, of course.

Rhyme too:
I will call my baggage my viaticals
and sleep I will call sabbaticals.
