very small deaths
ordinary consequences
insignificantly richer life changes

is love to be sought?
is love to be won?
is love to be struggled for?

can love be held?
can love be indifference lost?
can love be like possessions guarded?

can love be bestowed
for goodness faith tenacity
a reward for good works?

good intentions?
good deeds?
good never done?

love is not bought?
love is not bargained for?
love is not struggled for?

love is not sold in the market place?

will love result from patient ritual prayer?
will love result from endured longing faithful?
will love result from smiles laughter kindness free given?

does love descend quite simply?
does love descend quite formlessly?
does love descend quite unexpectedly?

does love come from a great height?
does love come from a great distance?
does love come from no height or distance but from within?

love burned?
love consumed?
love flamed?

utterly uncontrolled?
utterly uncontrollable?
utterly untamed?

strange once love is within...
nothing can chase love away?
