Distance Relationship Poem by Daniel Goncalves

I know that you're leaving to do something great,
you're working hard and doing your best,
I'm proud of you and that puts my mind to rest.

You're more to me than you even know,
I'll travel the distance and go as far as I need to go.

I wish you could see what I see, when you think you're at your worse, You're always still perfect to me.

I'm crazy about you in so many ways and all that you do;
Near or far I'll always love you.

I know that for now I'll be patient and wait;
Facing the facts is something I hate.

Missing the days, I could kiss and hold you tight,
Reminiscing about you gone each night.

Our passion and love with never break,
No matter how far you are, it's your face I see when I wake.

I'm missing you every minute of every day,
But knowing you'll be in my arms soon makes everything ok.
