Distances Poem by Ronald Strickland

Distances

Each day I walk a distance, each day I notice you gliding in your yard swing, enjoying the evening.

My thoughts join you in part, thinking of you enjoying the sunset and the moon soon to rise.

Thinking if I could be by your side, if my day would be better, if we were side beside.

The Heart carrying us with wonders within the distance and dreams when we close our eyes and enjoy the love of life we may share.
