Distress Of The Children Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Distress Of The Children

The little children are groaning about the dull and monotonous reading,
They want to flee from this rigorous sting,
But the reality is very cruel,
It does not allow them to get any optimistic smell.
Presently this is the sad story of the children,
The burden of books and the ambition of the parents are destroying their childhood and childish emotions;
Like the caged birds the children aspire to fly
In the great world of emancipation,
But in vain,
As no one pays attention to the little brain,
And in sore distress,
They are compelled to accept this unavoidable and infinite strain.
