Divine Stage Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Divine Stage

If wishes had wings
It could sing
In praises
With promises

Thousands of words remain still unsaid
When no conditions are laid
Life moves in romantic way
When heart sinks in beautiful way

The mind is not under control
Responds to imaginative call
It is let loose in every direction
For love's embrace and action

If wishes are again taken out of cage
It shall manage
To arrest you
In every possible way through

It is such divine stage
Where people of all ages
Wonder at the magic
And dance at the music

The whole of surrounding
May be sounding
Of love at rhythm
That is experienced seldom
