Divorce or Die-by-Force

'The cry of violence
The cry of an adult
The regret mixed with shame
The cry of a brutalised soldier is all I see...
owh! Aged mother in a baby skin...
Why cry and let your tears flow like the sea? ' Her children wailed

You were born in 1914...
Your christening was flabouyant
And attended by people who barely know your history
You were born with boundage,
So we called you 'Aina'... or the 'Ige'
With so much pain and rage… Hmmm

You said you were old enough to get married...
You allowed your adopted parents to forcefully put you through this mismarriage,
you claimed to be happy...
yet your life suffer several miscarriages.

You thought the marriage will be rosy but now your cry is so noisy.

What a pity!
Now you cry as you are torn apart from within
…though others see you as big woman kidding
You exclaimed in pain and said the marriage is now like a curse...
Yet you took it like a course that must be finished
A 60 unit course making us famished

Now you cry for freedom
…and you said the abuse is enough
Who is your teacher?

Ahah! 'Our religion says, DIVORCE is a taboo,
no it's preferable you die and loose all for this marriage to work'
What opium; what a mental slavery?
Our culture supports the unity... while you smile in tears.

'What if getting divorced will save my life, what if I die in this relationship... what if...' Keep the if and let Eve go back to Eden

'Can you stop crying Madam
You are 60... Please be happy, don't give up, there is hope, don't stop having hope, your tomorrow will be great' The ‘aspire to expire' motivational speaker exclaimed...
The realist says 'Think and make strategic walk to freedom,
…ask the right questions and take the right actions to ensure stardom'
'Leave the tears,
…stake the gallon until it digs a doodle of scars...
If care is lost we will all remain daunted with the nightmares of our victories...
Stop the cry... you are old enough to take actions' The man with the bike said.
