Where is the hope
To live a life of truth
Where is the path
Life can go smooth
Where is the desire
To do good and great
Life rots in the shadow
Of blood and hate
Where is the dream
That takes one high
Ideas born in bunches
To get stale and die
Where is the youth
To fight evil and wrong
Hunger, hate and apathy
Do not make it strong
Where is the day when
One can see a bright sun
When being happy and gay
Life would have great fun
