Do You? - Poem by Jay LeBron
Do you ever wonder if he's thinking of you?
Or when he said he loved you, was it really true?
Do you ever just close your eyes and imagine his smile?
And do you ever lock yourself in your room just to be alone for a while?
Do you remember what it was like to play with his hair?
And if you concentrate hard enough, could you envision him there?
Do you think he ever takes long walks, just to reminisce?
Or do you think he remembers when, and where was the first time y'all kissed?
Do you ever think about all the special times that you shared?
And do you think he'll ever know just how much you really cared?
Do you ever think about the games in bed that you played?
And are you just patiently waiting for the memories to fade?
Do you get sick and tired of people telling you to be strong?
And do you ever wonder if and when you'll move on?
Do you wonder if he ever thinks about you when he lays down to sleep?
Or if when you cross his mind he can't help his heart from getting weak?
Do you still smile when ever you hear y'all's song?
And do you never stop wondering what the hell went wrong?
Do you miss the time when your lover was your best friend?
And do you continuously tell yourself that you'll never love again?
Do you wonder if somewhere out there he's feeling the same?
And is the picture of you two together still in its frame?
Do you ever wonder when your life will get back on track?
And at night do you sit and pray that one day he'll come back?
This poem was written for all the girls out there who have ever got there hearts broken. Weather it was there fault for the break-up or they were simply left, I hope that you grow into a women and learn from your mistakes, and let a heart break make you stronger. One last thing, 'when you got somebody good, you hold on to them', don't ever forget that.
