Do You Have A Moment God?
So much there is that is bothering me
I really needed to pause
To have a chat with God, you see
For whatever was the cause.
He was always my friend so I felt
I could chat any day, any time
The subject didn't matter either
For He always would find the time.
I asked about what He felt could be done
To make our world a better place
So much is going on, you see
At a quick and a damaging pace.
Anger had simply manifested itself
Through the world in an astonishing way
We needed help as mortals do
To keep living for another day.
I don't feel safe with strangers, God
I know that I watch too much TV
And hear about the anger out there
So intensified is life's message to me.
I know You gave us all brains, Lord
But folks are using theirs to hurt
They are planning something very soon
Home terrorists in large dangerous spurts.
So help us, Lord, I pray to you
It is for our planet that is in jeopardy
The sooner You can do this, God
Will be best it seems to me!
stanza 1: 'me see'? ? Are you referring to this: The Holy See is the universal government of the Catholic Church...'? ?
Wellll, on the one hand (my left one) I think now of 'God' (of whatever gender) is A JOKE, and that 'God' is laughing at US. (not the U.S.) , YOU & ME. Ha ha ha! ! ! ! (cont.)
Here is BRI's suggestion(s) : If you believe in 'God': each time you prepare to sleep, pray: 'Lord, now I lay be down to sleep. I pray that You, my soul, will keep. Etc., etc., etc.' Good luck!

(CONT.) Yes, God is a JOKE, created by 'man', not 'the other way around' aka 'Man' is created by 'God'. Yet, no matter who created whom/what I believe that 'God' is supportive and soothing for many people. : ) bri
