Do you know what your eyes can do?
Beyond obscuring my point of view.
Lime- colored gold shimmers and flashes
Behind a dark curtain of black lashes.
And within each glance a spark of certainty
Luring my stare and confusing reality.
I find it impractical to look away
Particularly when we have nothing to say.
Most uniquely the times when you smile
Those eyes of yours can quite beguile.
In that moment I fall into your gaze
I have to stop and relish this delicious daze.
