Bitter Sweet Poem by Brandi Guthrie

Bitter Sweet

Rating: 5.0

Warmness… that`s what I know,
As soon as your skin meets mine.
Out from your touch emitting slow
Is a bliss bitter sweetly divine.
With one more hasty step, I slip.
Never more may I resurface.
For I am lost in one hard kiss,
I surrender to this purpose.
Tiny moments are never adequate
In satisfying my resuming need
For arms that envelop delicate…
For blue eyes so familiar to me.
It`s no easy feat to blow my mind
But your words are gaining ground.
Whispering the means to rewind
This connection too long laid down.
Never again will I close my eyes
And drift far away to sleep
Without your enchanting smile.
To entice these bitter sweet dreams.

I love the way you interpret your feelings are thoughts into such delicate words. Your poem speaks lots of words of love and life to me ahh only if the world were as sweet and beautiful as your thoughts. Snow Cambridge

Ahhh I can drift of in to a dreamy daze of reconciled bliss after rteading this. So very open and tender that you nestle in the heart of it, close your eyes and be set adrift on the waves of emotion that match your heartbeat. Superb wording and catchy rhythm make this so smooth to read and enjoy with a smile forever etched upon your face. So sweet, that if it was rice paper you'd want it to top your favourite dish, everytime! Really good Brandi, keep it up! Dale :)
